Should have paid more attention to the comments!
I had read the reviews to this bike but still went ahead and bought it!
What a mistake!
The bike arrived and I was like a little child waiting to get it home and then I opened the bike and began to assemble it, along with the strangest set of assembly instructions ever! Yes this is a 26" wheel bike but the frame should be on a bike with a lot smaller wheels!
After finally putting the bike together I was off! After about 100m the gears thought I should be in a different gear and changed for me and on more than one occasion, which wasn't fun! After changing them back to the gear I wanted the gears then broke and left me with a km and a half to go in the highest gear possible!
The bike is very heavy and very uncomfortable, and if you are planning on using the bike for anything else than nipping to the local supermarket for a pint of milk, then I would highly reccommend either looking else where or walking!
Not so good!!!!!!!
After purchasing a 26" bike,when it arrived it was 18" so wasnt best pleased!
After riding it 3 times to work the gears kept slipping into the next gear so was quite dangerous.
Also the pedals kept making a creaking noise everytime i pedaled,so sounding like a bike that was 20 years old instead of one that was a week old!!
Returned the bike in the end after Halfords told me the bearings had gone in the back wheel and was gonna cost quite a bit to repair!(after a week!!)
A little shrinkage
I ordered a well made,sturdy, good looking and comfortable 26" bike.
I recieved a well made,sturdy, good looking and uncomfortable 18" bike. My nephew however though it very comfortable and now enjoys it daily.
